The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for patients on the **Med/Surgical, Intensive Care, ED, FED, GYN, GI, ENDO, and PACU** units as demonstrated by competency. The Flex RN II will also be trained and required to perform duties of the House Supervisor. They will report daily to Nursing Administration for assignment to unit. The RN may be pulled during the shift as the workload demands change. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care of patients in correlation with the Nursing Process, Alabama Nurse Practice Acts, Baldwin Health standards of care, philosophy, mission, and the medical plan of treatment and care.
