RN - Float Pool Med/Surg Telemetry - Encinitas - Nights - Bonus Eligible

This is a Full Time with benefits (72 hours every two weeks) position, working 12-Hour Night shifts (1900-0730) on varied days including some holidays and weekends. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

The site-based float pool (SBFP) floats to four major Med/Surg Telemetry units at Scripps Memorial Encinitas.We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses responsible for providing direct care within the scope of yourpractice. Patient care includes assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care and evaluation of the patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under your supervision. You will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:​

·Internal candidates​

·Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago​

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met​:

·Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)​

·Must remain in original department/specialty​

·Must remain in original Job Title

·Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted.

One (1) year of RN experience.Current CA RN LicenseCurrent BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart AssociationRegistered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.Excellent interpersonal skills.Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSNOne year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experienceTelemetry or Progressive Care experienceOther Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLSEpic EHR working experience
