Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to age specific groups identified in the direct care responsibilities, utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the department. The RN adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Create individualized care plans for patients under their supervision and care. · Triage and treat cancer-related issues. · Input chemo treatment orders per the ordering physician · Coordinate chemo treatment start and stop appointments with infusion center · Coordinate various aspects of oncologic patient care · Coordinating Direct Admission, Blood Transfusions, Iron Infusion **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : · Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing · 1 Years of professional nursing experience · RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current valid State of Florida or multi state license Upon Hire · BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire **Preferred qualifications:** · Oncology experience · Physician office experience · Inpatient oncology experience; PCU experience; ICU experience · OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Upon Hire This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
