Key Responsibilities:
As a RN Hospice Director, you’ll have the chance to:
Lead financial operations across branches, implementing effective budgeting and accounting systems that ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Build and maintain high-performing teams by ensuring staffing levels meet patient care demands.
Navigate and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations, resolving any payment or coverage issues.
Drive operational efficiency by overseeing utilization review and continuously improving services.
Play an active role in strategic planning for key accounts, participating in regular review meetings to ensure sustained growth and high performance.
Ensure the accuracy of public-facing information and maintain your branch’s reputation for excellence.
Step up in problem-solving, investigating complaints and deficiencies, and ensuring resolution.
Lead with innovation, identifying areas for service enhancement and developing proposals to drive improvement.
Qualifications Needed to Succeed:
5+ years of Hospice Experience: A solid background in hospice care is essential.
RN License: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of operations.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and managing teams within a Home Health or Hospice setting.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Homecare HomeBase is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of operations and financial management in a matrixed environment.
