RN Hospice Nurse (7 on / 7 off)
Overview Amedisys is searching for a RN Clinical Nurse to join our Lower Florida Keys team of incredible healthcare professionals. It’s at the Heart of What We Do. *NOTE* Coverage territory for field RN is primarily the Lower Keys, Full-time Monday thru Sunday 7 days on/7 days off. Attractive Compensation Package $90000-$95,000 *Compensation may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. On average our orientation for an R.N is 3-4 weeks, however, is individualized according to your needs and experience. Completes, coordinates and revises the total plan of care and maintains continuity of patient care by collaborating with appropriate staff. Regularly communicates patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team. Develops, prepares, and maintains individualized patient care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to care center policies. Records pain/symptom management changes/outcomes as appropriate. Educates families on patient condition, needs and care. Makes referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed, or documents rationale for not doing so. Performs on-call responsibilities and on-call services to patients/families as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1+ year(s) of nursing experience in acute care setting(s), ER or fast-paced environment(s). Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work. Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance. HCHB experience and/or acute care nursing roles a HUGE plus!
