Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN House Supervisor provides oversight of facility patient care functions on a designated shift. Provides direction, counsel and support for patient care and staffing concerns. Collaborates with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide, promote, maintain and evaluate quality patient continuum of care. Coordinates patient placement and supervises professional and support staff.
Education: Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's degree in clinical or management discipline is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure: Current Mississippi RN licensure is required. BLS, ACLS and CPI certifications are required (or within 30 days of hire into the position). Other unit specific nursing certifications may be required as they pertain to the unit or area of specialty (e.g. PALS, TNCC).
