Today our hospital is a regional referral center with more than 100 physicians and more than 1100 employees working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community. We are a 16 bed ICU that cares for wide variety of critically ill patients with renal, cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, neuro-surgical, endocrine, GI, and surgical conditions. We are a designated stroke center and we care for a diverse population of patients, pulling from multiple areas of the state. **Compensation** **:** Base rate + shift differential **Incentives:** $25,000 sign on bonus till June 30th, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years) **Nurse Residency** offered for all New Graduates **Responsibilities** + Assesses, plans, and implements nursing care while ensuring patient comfort + Anticipates, identifies, and responds to informational and emotional needs of patients and families + Guides and directs healthcare personnel (i.e., CNAs) in caring for patients + Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use (i.e., IV pumps, monitoring equipment, and drainage devices) Utilizes safeguards such as IV pump drug library and monitor alarms with necessary + Initiates emergency support measures (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, protecting patient from injury) + Assists with patient care duties/tasks (i.e., emptying drainage devices, ambulating, and hygiene) **Qualifications** + Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state + Graduate of an accredited nursing program + Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association required + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire + Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 5 months of hire While you’re busy impacting the healthcare industry we’ll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance and more! \#CHIMSRES22 **Pay Range** $36.00 - $52.20 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
