Position Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability to extend) Number of Openings: 12 Start Date: 2/10 or later Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 48 (4x12's) / Days or Nights Setting: + Level 3 Trauma Position Requirements: + Minimum 2-3 years of recent RN ICU/Critical Care experience + Meditech experience highly preferred + Active CA RN license + BLS and ACLS (AHA) Amergis Travel Advantages + Local office footprint in most major cities across the country + Premium pay rates with tax advantage compensation + Health/Dental/Vision Insurance available on 1st of month + Weekly pay through direct deposit + Accessible via office phone, email, or text + Emergency, On-call line, available 24/7 The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management, medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central line care, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status. The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.
