Compassionate Caring is our Calling!_** **About this unit:** + 32 bed unit + The ICU is a challenging, but rewarding unit to work on - nurses in this unit are expected to have a high level knowledge of bodily systems and mechanics, as well as the ability to shift priorities at a moment's notice. + This unit accepts general surgery patients, as well as open-heart patients. Porter provides 24-hour monitoring and acute care for critically ill patients in our intensive care unit (ICU).
