Responsibilities

In keeping with Dignity Health core values, the Clinical Nurse II (CNII) in Hyperbaric / Wound Care Unit is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of unit patient type here, the implementation of patient care in this setting, and the ability to practice independently. The CNII in Hyperbaric / Wound Care Unit serves as a resource person, preceptor, and relief charge nurse. Under minimal supervision, the CNII proficiently implements the nursing process for clients with complex diagnoses.

This position is represented by SEIU, Local 121RN, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. 


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

One (1) year medical/surgical, critical care, or specialty area experienceCurrent CA Registered License (LIC CARN)Current AHA CPR Certification (CT CPRBLS)Current AHA ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire (CT ACLS)Completion of Hyperbaric/Wound Care competencies within 6 months of employment

Preferred Requirements:

Spanish speaking experienceBachelor’s Degree in NursingSpecialty certification in nursing
