Responsibilities
Triage walk-ins to determine if a patient is in labor, water is broken, false alarm, etcSupport pregnant patients in labor including induction, epidural assistance (if needed), general pain management and fetal monitoringAssist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections, tubal ligation, cerclage and emergency proceduresEducate patients on various interventions or procedures - medications (name and purpose), exams, and labor stagesAssess newborn and provide care.Communicate with the care management team, including anesthesiologist, physician or midwife, lactation nurse, charge nurse, postpartum unit, patient and family

We are offering a $20,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.


Qualifications
Associate Degree In NursingBachelors in Nursing preferredAt least 1 Year Of Experience as an RNRegistered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
