Job description:
The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent educ/experience National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within 1 year of hire 1 year of Healthcare Experience 1 year of Epidemiology Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent educ/experience 4 years of Healthcare Experience 2 years of Epidemiology Experience
