Come join our extraordinary OB/Med-Surg team as a Registered Nurse (RN) utilizing a team-based approach to patient care in a fun and supportive work environment. Must work 2 shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours scheduled every 6 weeks. 1 of those shifts must be a evening, night weekend or holiday shift. Eligible for incentives and other premiums after minimum shift requirement has been met.

A minimum of 1 year of L&D, postpartum and nursery care experience preferred.

Must have BLS, ACLS and NRP certification.

STABLE and PALS preferred but not required upon hire

Fetal monitoring course within past 2 years preferred.

Willing to work on Med/Surg unit when OB patient census is low. Will train to Med/Surg upon hire.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
