As an Inpatient Rehabilitation RN, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from various medical conditions, surgeries, or injuries. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment for optimal recovery.
About the Inpatient Rehab Unit
IRU is a 14-bed specialty unit.
We are CARF certified (Commission Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
Patient population: Those with life-altering events: stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major multi-trauma, femur fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders (MS, Parkinson’s, Guillain-Barré, etc.), and joint replacements.
Patients must have the ability to do 3 hours of therapy daily and need 24-hour nursing care.
Length of patient stay 1-3 weeks.
