100% FTE, Monday – Friday, 6:40am – 3:10pm with one day 9:40am – 6:10pm. Weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Holiday triage and holiday call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse(RN) to: 

Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner. Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases. Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient’s level of complexity.

Education:

Preferred – Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum – Six (6) months of relevant clinical experience.

Preferred – Clinical operating room experience. 

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin and CPR certification. 

Preferred – ACLS and PALS.
