RN Internal Medicine Residency Clinic

Practice Overview:

We are a teaching clinic with resident physicians who practice alongside supervising physicians to improve healthcare through education and research. This partnership allows our physicians to provide quality care to all our patients. The RN is an essential role to our clinic to provide increased continuity of care to a unique population of patients. The individual will work very closely with the supervising physicians as well as the residents, and clinical teams. As a RN, you play an integral role in the clinic. Our patients come from all backgrounds, and each have their own unique and often complex care needs. We serve the underserved and are proud to provide this service to our community.

Culture in the office:

The office culture is like a family. We are a group of people who care for others and each other. As a new member of the team, you will be treated like an equal to all others. Once you are on the team, you have an equal piece of the pie and your voice and opinion hold equal weight as all others on the team. You will be given a high level of autonomy with the expectation that in return your performance will reflect a high standard of an expectation for excellence and accountability. In addition to self-accountability, you will be expected to hold your peers accountable. We believe in trying to bring your best self to work each day and knowing that when you are not, you are supported. Positive intent is a core value of our team. Opinions matter, you will be heard, and doors are always open here. Lastly, we all live by the 4 Cs of Courage, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Compassion.
