Overview Fairview Health Services is searching for hardworking RNs looking for an exciting career in our L&D Post-Partum units located at our Burnsville, Minnesota campus! Our hospital is just 20 minutes south of Minneapolis, MN near the 35E and 35 W conjunctions. The hospital has been providing state-of-the art care and community services to the residents of the elegant Minnesota Valley since 1984. Fairview Ridges Birthplace is a 30 bed postpartum and 9 bed labor and delivery unit with a 3 bed maternal assessment center and over 2000 deliveries per year. Join our team to work in a collaborative, patient and family centered environment where we focus to meet our patients and families desires for medical and non-medical interventions that support their labor, delivery and postpartum experience. This position is 60 hours per pay period, rotating day/night, 12 hour shifts (7am-7:30pm, 7pm-7:30am), every third weekend. We offer generous benefits including medical, dental, time off and more. The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. We coordinate care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. We are also the people who work as the scrub person during L&D operative procedures.
