Position Summary
Registered Nurse provides care to patients seeking crisis-receiving services and education, support and leadership to nursing
staff utilizing reflective proactive, staff development, support and oversight to build and model a strengths-based, client-centered culture. The CRBH
Registered Nurse provides care to people in a behavioral health crisis and coordinates the administration of medical services to patients.
Required Qualifications
Current license as an Registered Nurse with the State of California required.Two plus year’s related experience in clinical experience with diverse adult population preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.Current CPR and first aid certificate or willingness to be trained required within first (90) ninety days of employment.Experience working with unhoused community members and people in a behavioral health crisis.Knowledge of community resources including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the county’s General Assistance Program.Essential Responsibilities
Trains nursing staff, interns, volunteers and new hires in nursing duties, policies and processes.Oversees nursing functions and compliance with established guidelines, protocol and best practices.Performs RN duties for patients needing crisis receiving services, including preparing rooms, rooming patients, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, taking temperatures, completing assessments, and performing venipuncture and immunizations as authorized and needed.Provide education and oversight to ensure best practices in client care and adherence to certifying and regulatory standards are met by all nursing staff.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
