Hiring Range : $91,124.80- $118,476.80
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Staffing & Coordination:
+ Assist Staffing Coordinator with all staffing on patient care unit(s).
+ Review and approve all time and attendance requests following organizational policies.
+ Plan and coordinator all supplies and patient care activities.
Financial Oversight:
+ Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Staff Development:
+ Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
+ Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
+ Evaluates the effectiveness of the staff and unit performance and coordinates the unit activities with other departments.
Clinical Operations:
+ Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
+ Ensure quality of care by making rounds to determine effectiveness of care and patient satisfaction.
+ Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
Ensure patient care assignments are based on individual patient needs, assignment complexity, and staff qualifications.

Additional Responsibilities:
+ Actively participate in and attend all team meetings as required.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education, Training & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, Master’s preferred.
+ BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Experience with electronic/hybrid medical records. Meditech experience preferred. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in acute care.
+ Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year leadership or management experience.
Certifications / Licensure:
+ Current New York State license as Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
