What you will do:

St. Peter's Health Partners is looking for a RN Manager of the Terrace, our 67 apartment Enhanced Housing facility at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy.  Looking for a strong clinical leader who finds joy in working with seniors to handle clinical, case management and administrative duties. The Terrace is a department of the bigger Eddy Memorial campus and maintains a strong legacy of service excellence.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all clinical care provided to residents in coordination with on-site Resident Care Manager.  Acts as a clinical liaison to all resident primary care physiciansThe day-to-day administration of the Enriched Housing ProgramPlanning, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of program services in coordination with department managersHiring and Management of staff and the delivery of high-quality services consistent with Enriched Housing guidelinesEnsure ongoing health and wellness assessments and care planning to meet changing needs of the residentsDevelop strategies to ensure quality of care are provided to residentsPrimary contact for all matters involving NYS DOH and Ombudsman program including but not limited to; surveys, plans of correction for deficiencies, investigations and complaintsResponsible for compliance with all pertinent Department of Health, State and Federal regulations including but not limited to all issues related to patient care, the ordering, handling, storage and administration of medicationsBe willing to provide on-call coverage, and participate in holiday activities on occasion

What you will need:

Current and valid New York State RN licenseAssociates Degree in Nursing3+ years of experience as a RN acceptable to NYS Dept of Health3+ year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in NursingHighest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesStrong conflict mediation skillsExcellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts and different departmentsHighest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environmentPromote and embrace the culture of the facilityLeadership and mentorship skills overseeing nursing and nursing support staffPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range: $35.80 - $52.17
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
