Statement of Purpose:
The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role-including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization (Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice-ANA, 1993).
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Certification / License: Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts. Current CPR and ACLS certifications. NRP preferred.
Experience: Labor and delivery experience preferred.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
