Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
3rd Floor Medical is a 26 bed telemetry unit featuring private patient rooms with many having ceiling lifts. In addition, we have 12 rooms designated for close observation that have reduced patient to staff ratios. Our RN ratios vary from 1:4 or 1:5 dependent on the care needs of our patients. 3rd Floor Medical cares for patients with multisystem involvement and patients requiring “non-acute” cardiac telemetry monitoring.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree is preferred.Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required.One year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit, is strongly preferred.
