Evaluating assigned patients and plansImplementing and documenting nursing careAssisting physicians during examinations and proceduresPerforming various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nursePromoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goalsHelping patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skillsRelying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsReporting to the head of the med/surg unitKey qualifications for this role include:
