Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time, Nights Position in the Med/Surg Unit at Northwest Health - La Porte Hospital

Full time: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shiftsHours: 7p-7aEligible for shift differentialSign on bonus up to $20,000!Weekend and holiday rotation required. No call required.

About our Unit:

30 Bed unit This unit is an excellent starting point for RN's. This is a fast-paced unit with a lot of patient turnover - nurses can expect to treat patients ranging in ailment and acuity.Patient age ranges from pediatric to geriatric.

Just off the shores of Lake Michigan in Northern Indiana, Northwest Health - La Porte has been the heart of healthcare in La Porte for more than 40 years. La Porte is a 227-bed hospital providing acute care with strong programs in cardiology, orthopedics, surgical services, emergency care, oncology and maternal health.  As of October 2020, our new and improved La Porte location opened. This location features the latest technology for our staff and providers. Our hospital is La Porte’s only stroke center and nationally accredited chest pain center.

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certification: 

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.BLS certification must be maintained while in this positionACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position

Experience: 

1 year of hospital experience preferred
