Mother/Baby Internship Program – February 2024
This is a great opportunity for those interested in Mother/Baby.
This Internship is for Morton Plant Hospital.
Internship Begins February 17th, 2025.External applicants will be required to attend one week of orientation, prior to starting the program.Internship will be 3 months in length. During the time of the internship all interns will be assigned to the day shift. Once the internship is complete, the shift you will be working will be NIGHTS (7pm-7am)Interns should not be taking any other programs or courses during the internship.There is a two year required commitment for the internship program specifically to the unit and hospital of hire beginning at the end of the 3 month program.
The Clinical Nurse independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development.
Requirements:
6 months of RN acute care experience required.1 year of RN acute care experience is preferred.Associates - Nursing; or Diploma - NursingBachelors - Nursing preferredBLS (Basic Life Support)RN (Registered Nurse)
