\nRegistered Nurses in the Women's Services department will assist new moms through the labor and delivery and recovering process in the labor and delivery suite. The labor and delivery suites allow for care to be brought to mom and newborn baby. These suites allow new families to remain together during the birthing process, creating a comfortable environment for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
\nAfter delivery, mothers and babies are cared for together in the couplet care environment. Newborn babies remain with their mothers in this family-centered unit and receive their nursing care together, which promotes education and building confidence for new mothers.

\nAs a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.

\n\nYou, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.\nBuilding relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.\nCreating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues.\nYou will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.\nWork with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.\nYou'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff.
