\n\n\nDepartment Specifics: Level III Designated NICU, Greater than 95% BSN, 34% Specialty Certified, 200+ admission annually, and active Unit Practice Council

\nThe Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n\nPrioritize needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary.\nObserve indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.\nCreate a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.\nBuild relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.\nFacilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.\nCollaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.\nUse problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.\n\nWhat Will Make You Successful In The Role
