Join our team as the Nurse Manager (RN) for our Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA.
Providence St. Mary Medical Center has been a part of the community of Apply Valley, California since 1956. Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that sees an average of 240 patients per day. We are a Stroke and STEMI receiving department and we are moving to a Level 4 Trauma Certification in 2024.
Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the patient care delivered to a designated population. Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care department with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling in collaboration with department director. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or obtained within 4 years of hire date. California Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 3 years of experience in an acute hospital environment. 2 years of experience in a related specialty unit.Preferred qualifications:
