We are seeking an Emergency Services Nursing Supervisor to:

Work collaboratively with ED leadership and oversee of daily operations of the ED  Plan, direct and evaluate patient and family care. Communicate and collaborate with a variety of staff including ED staff, nursing leadership, medical staff, case management, social work and multiple departments.  Acts as a clinical resource to staff and assure nursing care is provide within UW Health’s established standards of care.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered but the candidate must be enrolled in a BSN program with a program completion date within 24 months of hire.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Three (3) years of relevant clinical, ED, transport, or Charge RN experience.  Demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Preferred - Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in clinical practice.  Management, Supervisory, or charge RN experience with demonstrated success.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registered Nurse license in state of Wisconsin.

Preferred - Certification in relevant specialty area.
