RN Nursing Supervisor - Emergency *Days*

RN Nursing Supervisor in the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA.  This is a full-time position that will work Day shift.

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units. Oversees the operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Required Qualifications:

California Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire. 3 years experience in an acute hospital environment. 2 years experience in the specialty unit (Emergency).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Master's Degree 2 years Management experience.
