Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Statement of Purpose:
The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role, including activities related to: promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization(Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice - ANA, 2010; Perianesthesia Nursing Standards and Practice Recommendations 2012-2014)
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Certification / License: Current RN license in Massachusetts. Current CPR skills. AORN membership preferred.
Experience: Previous OR experienced required, including circulating and scrubbing.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
