JOB SUMMARY
The RN - Operations - Radiology works under general supervision of the Radiologist or Cardiologist, the registered nurse is responsible for direct and indirect patient care for all patients having procedures in all areas of Imaging Services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Minimum Required: Two years nursing experience. Knowledge in dealing with all patient types and adaptable to work in multiple departments of Imaging. Possesses good communication skills with patients, staff, and physicians. Knowledge of basic computer skills and EMR.
Preferred/Optional: One year experience in Radiology or Cardiac Diagnostics.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan. BCLS certification. ACLS and conscious sedation certification or within one year of hire.
