Complies with established standards of nursing, demonstrating a comprehensive scope of skills and knowledge in the management of the Oncology patients’ physical and psychosocial needs. Demonstrates ability to update level of education to maintain skills specific to oncology. **EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:** Associate degree or above in nursing. Must have six months RN experience. Prefer at least two years general medical/surgical hospital experience with an emphasis on IV skills. Training through oncologist office in chemotherapy administration. **CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:** Current Iowa RN license. Current certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting. ONS Chemotherapy Competency class within 6 months of hire.
