You will assess patients, identify needs, and create care plans. Evaluate patient responses for safety. This role is ideal for new Registered Nurses in hospital inpatient and outpatient departments open 24/7. It's also suitable for departments with on-call staffing for off-shifts. These departments may include hospital-specific and outpatient procedural sections like gastroenterology labs, pain management, dialysis, infusion centers, and intravenous services. **What You'll Do** + Evaluate patient health conditions using clinical reasoning. Identify, prioritize, and address needs of patients and families. Develop care plans to improve health outcomes. + Regularly evaluate nursing practices. Improve healthcare quality using research and learning experiences. + Create a caring environment. Build connections with patients and families. + Manage emotional and physical pain to promote relief, healing, and reduce suffering. + Acknowledge and respect the unique differences of patients and families, incorporating these into customized care plans. + Advocate for patient privacy and rights. Represent their interests and values effectively to create a meaningful plan. + Promote learning among patients, families, nursing staff, and the wider community. Our workforce should reflect our communities. **Qualifications** + You should have completed a program from a recognized institution, or have at least 2 years of related professional experience. + Your major should be in Nursing. + Some professional experience in the field is appreciated, even if it's less than a year. + Registered Nurse. + Basic life support (BLS). If you haven't done this yet, you must complete within 30 days.
