Job Details Our Registered Nurses are: Responsible for the delivery of evidence-based patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; Responsible and accountable for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care rendered to patients, including assessment, interdisciplinary planning, patient and family education and support and the appropriate assignment of patient care to staff while maintaining standards of care. Qualifications: Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred. Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, regulatory codes, personnel and administrative policies required. Minimum of 2 years experience as a RN required. ACLS and PALS certification preferred, but required within 6 months of hire. Added skills and/or certification in specific areas are preferred. Knowledge and experience with the Performance Improvement process preferred. Knowledge and experience with Regulatory standards preferred. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Strong computer skills preferred. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development by updating knowledge of skills through continuing education required. Must possess the ability to function as part of a team. BLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS//PALS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer No online programs from any organization will be accepted Salary Range USD $54.59 - USD $70.97 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
