RN - Pediatric Coverage at Child Advocacy Centers - Per Diem

Here at St. Peter's Health Partners, we care for more people in more places. **What you will do:** Respond to victims of crime, including sexual assault, throughout Child Advocacy Centers covered by the St. Peter’s Health Partners Forensic Nursing Program. **Responsibilities:** + Provide evidence collection and medico-legal examinations of crime victims when on call + Required to provide testimony if subpoenaed + Communicates with medical team, law enforcement and victims; advocating before, during, and after the exam as needed + Provides individualized care to each victim adhering to confidentiality and privacy + Functions as a mandated reporter + Have Availability to cover pediatric examinations as needed **What you will need:** + Current RN License in State of New York + 3 Years RN Experience with 1 year experience caring for pediatric sexual assault patients independently + BLS + NYSAFE Certification + SANE-P Recommended + Fast Critical Thinking skills + Communication/Bedside Manner skills + Good Assessment skills + Ability to work independently and collaboratively **Pay Range:** $36.50 - $49.95 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
