Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse to join us in serving lives through one-on-one patient care in a home environment. Maxim offers comprehensive training to all of our nurses, including new graduates, to ensure our caregivers are able to provide exceptional services and quality of life strategies, while building their own experience and professional growth.

Position Details:

Pediatric & Adult

The essential nursing tasks for this patient may include:

Enteral Feed Placement/G-tube careTrachestomy Care (training provided)Ventilator Management (extensive training program)

Responsibilities:

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient carePerforms focused interview to identify specific patient needsAssess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patient’s conditionCollects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnosesOther Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) state in which the Registered Nurse (RN) practicesCurrent Health Certificate - completed within the last 6 monthsCurrent BLS cardPPD test, or Chest X-ray completed within the last year (available in office if needed)Reliable transportationOne year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience is preferred, but not required
