POSITION SUMMARY
The RN for the clinic is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care for patients of all ages, including adolescent, adult and geriatric as applicable for the scope of service. Must be competent to access and analyze patient information and history with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation process. Provides professional nursing services to support and assist provider with patient procedures, patient education and oversight of clinic workflow. Provides patient triage, coordinates patient care referrals and needed follow-up care, specifically as it pertains to any new diagnosis. Coordinates patient care activities with other members of the surgical practice, the hospital, physician practices and all referral sources using excellent customer service that always puts the patient needs first. Maintains clinic's compliance with state required reports. Must anticipate the needs of the provider to support efficient and quality patient care in the clinic and hospital wide. Performs all duties in a manner that supports WhidbeyHealth's Standards of Behavior, Patients First Tenets, Corporate Compliance, Mission, Vision, and Values.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Three (3) to five (5) years of current RN experience in a clinic practice. Active WA RN License required. Current BLS Certification required.
