Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an PICU RN to be part of the Pediatric Critical Care Department and manages patients with multi-system failure and a variety of life threatening illnesses. The ICU/CCU nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients and is responsible to the Clinical Manager of client facility designee. Assignment Details:  12H NOC shift 13-26 week contract  2/10 start date Must have previous NICU, PICU, or pediatrics experience Home Health experience can be considered if your experience was with pediatrics NEO is from 1p-5p on Monday of start. As well as 36hrs of training on various difreent shifts prior to being on the NOC shift. There are two houses 1 mile apart Each house can hold up to 5 Kiddos max
– 2 CNAs on staff with RN’s at all times
– The Kiddos are very much mobile – they run around the house but do typically all have Trach’s. 
– The Parents of the kiddos are very much involved and are able to visit 7 days/ week between 8a-8p.  Gross pay = $2,509 /wk – Taxable wage = $1,116 /wk – Meal Stipends = $602 /wk
– Housing Stipends = $791 /wk

Minimum Requirements: Shows evidence of having graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current, legal license in good standing in state of practice. Shows evidence of one year recent experience in ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU or emergency medicine Prefers evidence of ACLS, PALS, NRP certification. Shows evidence of CEU requirements for the state of practice. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions. 1-3 years complex job related experience, PALS, BLS, and ACLS, as required.
