Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)assignments in Norfolk,VA!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)
Number of Openings: 3
Start Date: 1/13
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Day/Night rotation
*Willwork every OTHER weekend/holiday
Setting:
Children’s Hospital Float to NICU and other Peds units as needed
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of RN PICU and CVICU experience Generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background VA RN or Compact RN license BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)

AmergisHealthcare Staffing is seeking an PICU RN to be part of the PediatricCritical Care Department and managespatients with multi-system failureand a variety of life threatening illnesses. The ICU/CCU nurseassumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patientsand is responsible to the Clinical Managerof client facility designee.
MinimumRequirements:
Shows evidence of having graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current, legal license in good standing in state of practice. Shows evidence of one year recent experience in ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU or emergency medicine Prefers evidence of ACLS, PALS, NRP certification. Shows evidence of CEU requirements for the state of practice. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions. 1-3 years complex job related experience, PALS, BLS, and ACLS, as required.
