We have a new RN opening in our Pre-op Clinic. This position is primarily telephonic calling patients pre-operatively and chart review. In this role, it is imperative to have high attention to detail in preparing patients for their surgical procedures. Excellent listening skills and patient teaching is required.
The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Current WA State RN license in good standing.One (1) or more years recent Pre-operative and or PACU experience is desired. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.BLS CPR is required every two yearsThis is a per diem role working (1) shift per week. 8 hour shifts. Need experience with detailed investigation of patient health histories and ability to identify key cardiovascular and respiratory issues that may be of concern for Anesthesia.Background in Pre-Op/PACU and/or moderate sedation is helpful.
Clear and concise verbal communication skills are necessary as patient interactions are via phone.
Must be able to type while interviewing patients and complete assessments in flow.
