This is a Full Time, benefitted 12 hour varied mid/evening shift at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. The role is as a RN in PreOp - PACU but you will mostly work in PACU. The shift is 1000-2230 or 0900-2130. There is weekend and on call requirement.

pre-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during the proceduremonitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation aftersurgery.

Qualifications - External

Required:

One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within PreOp PACU or ICUCalifornia Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association certificationsMust be able to speak, read and follow instructions in EnglishMust be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursingTelemetry experience2 years of PACU experience
