Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the Ambulatory Surgery visit including the pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases. Coordinates total patient care in association with other health team members. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one’s nursing practice. Maintains required certifications and performs effectively in an emergency. **Education:** Associated Degree in Nursing Required **Certifications/Experience:** + Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana + CPR required + ACLS required or completed within 90 days of hire. + PALS required within 90 days of hire for Pre/PACU + Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the Ambulatory Surgery visit **_including the pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases_** . Coordinates total patient care in association with other health team members. Follows Center policies, procedures and AORN guidelines of caring for the surgical patient. + Attitude - Provides highest quality service and meeting customers' needs with utmost kindness, care, compassion, courtesy, empathy, respect and friendliness.
