RN - PreOp-PACU - Ambulatory Surgery - Oceanside

This is a Full Time, benefitted PreOp/PACU position working at Scripps Clinic in Oceanside. The varied 10 hour Day shift starts between 5:45 am - 8:30am and equals 80 hours per pay period. No weekends or call. This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives of 4K, and Relocation assistance.

Scripps Medical Center Jeffersonis Scripps’ largest North County outpatient health center in the city of Oceanside.The new 85,915-square-foot, three-story site is designed as a one-stop-shop for patients, with a wide range of outpatient services includingprimary care,cardiology,neurology,obstetrics/gynecology,oncology,ophthalmology,orthopedics,andpediatrics, along with comprehensive imaging, outpatient surgery, urgent care, and same-day walk-in care throughScripps HealthExpress.

PACU at 78/Jefferson is a new service line supporting 4 ORs and 2 GIs Rooms. General Surgery, GI, Ortho, GYN, ENT, Sports Medicine, and total joints down the line.

Duties include: Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

·Internal candidates

·Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met:

·Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)

·Must remain in original department/specialty

·Must remain in original Job Title

·Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Current CA RN licenseCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certificate and ACLS certificateCompletion of accredited RN programMinimum 1 year RN experience

Experience in a PreOP/PACU settingPrefer 2 years or more experience in PACU
