The Exeter Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Responsible for providing oversight of the C.N.A. training program. Collect and maintain all data relating to student performance and outcomes. Ensures quality programming that provides students with industry-recognized training and credentials. Provides transitional support leading to quality full-time jobs, higher education, military or advanced training. Identifies and develops Center-beneficial partnerships that lead to student benefit and success. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION
May serve as Health & Wellness Director (if allowed under local state practice law). Assists in the supervision and management of the Wellness Services Department and subcontracted wellness services including mental health, dental and medical services.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Develop and update the nursing curriculum to align with industry standards and best practices, ensuring a relevant and comprehensive learning experience.
Instructional Leadership: Provide engaging and effective instruction, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
Clinical Placement Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare facilities to secure clinical placements for students, ensuring a diverse and enriching hands-on experience.
Student Support: Offer guidance and support to students, fostering their personal and professional development as future healthcare professionals.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain standards of excellence in the nursing program, continuously evaluating and improving curriculum, instruction, and student outcomes.
Community Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, creating opportunities for partnerships and enhancing the program's relevance in the community.
Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and educational innovations, incorporating them into the program to ensure its ongoing success.
