RN Progressive Care Per Diem
Job Description

This is a per diem (as needed) position working day shift in the progressive care unit at Northwest Medical Center. 

What you'll do:

The Registered Nurse participates in increased levels of care in a dynamic Acute Care / Progressive Care Unit setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients. 

This increased surveillance 28 bed unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

Experience: Clinical experience in critical care preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS
