Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** The RN Quality Coordinator, focused on employee health and clinical safety, is accountable for delivery of professional nursing care to employees, volunteers and contract staff while also accountable for planning, organizing and coordinating clinical and workplace safety programs in accordance with all regulated bodies (CMS, OSHA, etc.). **What you will do** + Acts as a liaison for regional safety teams and employee health nurses for standards. + Researches, builds and ensures implementation of policies and procedures relating to areas of clinical safety, workplace safety and employee health, reporting outcomes and trends. + Collaboration with leaders and other staff as appropriate to set and maintain performance standards for the functional areas of CMS, State and Federal Regulations, OSHA, and other programs. + Monitor employee illnesses/communicable diseases or blood borne exposures, evaluating for trends. + Engages in and completes nursing assessments for reasonable suspicions of drug and alcohol as well as return to work processes according to established policies and procedures. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
