In this position, you will be our Rapid Response/Code Expert. You will use your knowledge of codes and critical matters to support the hospital and act as an educator to other caregivers. While navigating the unit with a Critical Care mentality is essential, you will also have down time to interact and truly connect with fellow caregivers and the patients you encounter daily. **A caregiver in this position works from 7:00AM - 7:30PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide direct nursing care. + Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. + Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions. + Administer prescribed medications and treatments. + Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. + Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. + Educate patients and their families. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Two years of ED or ICU experience running codes and code medication + Teaching and educating experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
