 BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Charge Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.

The RN responsibilities include:

Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is requiredRN (Registered Nurse) license is requiredACLS Certification if required by departmentRN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion.

Experience:

· 18 months of RN experience in acute care is required

· 1 year of leadership experience is preferred
