The Registered Nurse provides care within the scope of the Ohio/Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery of nursing care utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization. The Registered Nurse will incorporate the American Nursing Association Code of Ethics for Nurses in daily practice.

Ability to differentiate between patient psychological symptoms that occur concurrently with altered physiological functioning. Education and /or Experience: Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program. BSN preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered nurse in psychiatric acute care setting desired. Experience in working in a psychiatric setting highly preferred. Special physical requirements: sits and stands throughout the day. Physical management of patients in crisis situation may be necessary.

This position will be staffed with behavioral health RNs who will be working in the Behavioral Access Center, located in the ER.
This is a 12 hour nightshift position including every other weekend and every other holiday
Previous behavioral health experience of at least 1 year required
Shift/Schedule
Full Time - Scheduled for 36 Weekly Hours
Shift Time - 7pm - 730am
This position will have scheduled shifts every other weekend.
